I think Harshil has comprehensively covered & discussed the topic. I must highlight that, look at it from this point of view: Will I call this campaign a successful one or not? I mean by the numbers it seems convincing, maybe it even exceeded the targets set. But yet I dont even faintly count it successful. Why? Because not once did it reach me! Its simple, no one would regard the Digen Varma campaign as excellent, unless he/she actually witnessed it! Now me being a hard core Social Media person (Facebook & You Tube several times a day) not once did I even faintly get a hint of this campaign in so many months. Its because of this blog that now I know about it. So how to look at this situation? 1. Was it an unsuccessful campaign? Because they couldnt even get a regular Social Media visitor to flow with the campaign? 2. Bearing in mind the large numbers, there is yet an even larger & vast number of people that can yet be targeted if all Social Media Networks are used with utmost efficiency & effectivity.

I think it would be safe to say that maybe numbers on the teaser front failed to meet the team's expectations.
I don't think its successful but its brave and smart nonetheless.
As for the trailer views? I believe the thumbnail did it all!
